St.Gallen Consensus on taTME

The St.Gallen consensus on safe implementation of transanal total mesorectal excision (taTME) was published in 2018 by 40 Experts and key opinion leaders in rectal cancer surgery from 20 countries and 5 continents. It currently provides the broadest consensus for successfully implementing and performing taTME. It is endorsed by the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) and the Swiss Association for Minimally Invasive Surgery (Swiss-MIS). The consensus manuscript published in Surgical Endoscopy is made freely available by Prof. Michel Adamina to the Attendees and Friends of the European Colorectal Cancer of St.Gallen and to all interested in a safe and efficient implementation of taTME.
